James Huctwith and Reiki:
I'm a working artist and former bouncer - and inadvertent Reiki enthusiast. Although I'm originally from small-town southern Ontario, I lived in Vancouver in the mid-90's, and have been in Toronto for the past twelve years.
I was introduced to Reiki through a chance meeting with a volunteer at PWA in 2007, after a hard few years which saw me fighting an addiction and in bad health.
I was surprised and impressed with how personally, subtly and profoundly the Reiki treatments that he gave me helped me out. So I stuck with it, eventually becoming a certified practitioner in early 2009.
Though still (and always) something of a healthy skeptic, I'm glad to be practicing it every day - and finding out more about it as I go. I hope you enjoy the benefits of it, as well.
